What do you get when you twerk and you twirl and you werk and you swerve and you swirl?
SWERLK!
Scissor Sisters and MNDR, along with the rest of the world, were deeply affected by the PULSE nightclub shooting in Orlando, FL.
It wasn’t just an attack on the LGBTQ community, but on one of its sacred spaces: the dance floor. On the one-year anniversary of the shooting, the two artists are teaming up not just to ensure violence against the gay community is still part of the national dialog, but to take back the dance floor.
SWERLK celebrates individuality, diversity, freedom, and fierceness. Scissor Sisters, MNDR and WonderSound are donating 100% of record sales and encouraging donations to the Contigo Fund, which emerged from the Pulse tragedy and offers financial support to organizations working to heal, educate and empower LGBTQ and Latinx individuals, immigrants and people of color, as well as those working to end all forms of bigotry in Central Florida.
Everytime you stream or download SWERLK or one of the four SWERLK Remixes all proceeds go to Contigo fund. So add SWERLK to your playlists and loop it up!
You can also donate directly to the Contigo Fund and receive a copy of SWERLK on the SWERLK website.
