MNDR recently remixed Austra’s “Spellwork,” off of the spectacular Feel It Break. The dark dance grooves were inspired by Austra’s wizardly haunting vocal and MNDR’s own 4-track remix style. It’s featured as track A1 on their new Sparkle EP.

MNDR’s “Cut Me Out” Featured on Cinemax

“Cut Me Out” is this summer’s soundtrack.  Currently airing all over Cinemax, check out their summer movie preview set to MNDR’s newest single. Inception never looked so good!

MNDR and WonderSound recently participated in the MINI Countryman Wanderlust series, a multi-regional event soliciting artists across the nation to create various one-of-a-kind adventures in non-traditional settings. On May 4th, local New York City guests were invited to drive upstate in their personal Mini Coopers to experience a unique audiovisual installation in the woods at sunset. WonderSound’s Peter Wade and Amanda Warner from MNDR, musician and video artist Greg Zifcak, and artists Rob Seward, Jamie Careirro, and 0thers contributed to the experience.

MNDR has just remixed Rai Knight’s “New New” in Wade and Warner’s lo-fi “4-Track” remix style.  The remix was composed and recorded on 4 tracks of analog tape using Rai’s original vocal edited in ProTools.  Wade’s Yamaha RX5 drum machine provided the back beat and was layered with spring reverb and delay directly to tape.  Then synths were overdubbed (Voyager and SE-1) through UA  2-610’s and a vintage Omnipressor.

The remix was mixed at WonderSound by Emmett Farley.
