Lyrics to MNDR Burning Hearts:
“Stay here, wait, let the black spiders crawl
You see them all, population under control
Seconds turn into hours, smoldering on your own
You’re so alone, so alone
Though your heart aches, you’re moving slowly
Hoping time waits for the the lonely
Why are you sitting on your own
Crying all alone?
Burning Hearts grow cold
Broken hearts, they will grow old
In your bones, fortune’s told
Burning Hearts, they all grow cold
You’re sitting still while you wait
Be good, do what you’re told
Look the other way, dip your toe, get cold
Entertain yourself, it’s all that you’ve ever known
Sitting there all alone
Though your heart aches, you’re moving slowly
Hoping time waits for the the lonely
I’m wondering why are you sitting on your own?
Tell me why are you crying all alone?
Burning Hearts grow cold
Broken hearts, they will grow old
In your bones, fortune’s told
Burning Hearts, they all grow cold
Sifting through the charcoal ruins in your ribs
Beginning something, uneasy and primitive
A little nudge, you’re falling
Your heart is spinning round and round…
Burning Hearts grow cold
Broken hearts, they will grow old
In your bones, fortune’s told
Burning Hearts, they all grow cold”
“Faster Horses”
Lets buy the sky
Fantasize
Never compromise
Dipped in silver and gold
Never satisfied
You’re in the front row
You’re so low
You don’t know
I know
Black and blue
Faces run
Down the paper
Talking tongues
Light it up
You’re a solider
You’re so restless
You’re so reckless
It’s so relentless
I know
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster, faster
You see me
Super flat
No opinion
Phase me out
I’m out
Subterranean
You’re in the front row
You’re solo
You don’t know
I know
Lick the bit
Lick the glass
Crack the window
Crack the whip
Twist the cap
Screw your face up
You’re so restless
You’re so reckless
It’s so relentless
I know
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster horses
You want faster, faster
“Cut Me Out”
Gather sparks in a velvet bag
Count them out, one by one again
Under bricks, buried away
Speculate on a future stake
Hold them close, swallow them whole
Pound them out into sheets, to control
The words become translucent
Oh, you cash them in
All this talk in the clouds
Changes wind on the ground
Open eyelids of gold
Cut me out
A burning bloom on a bed of spines
Digging deep into your skin
The dry lines crack with charcoal
Your only comfort is the burning sun
Hold it close inhale it in
Take it down, and down and down again
Feel the quicksand through your fingers
Oh oh, while you melt away
All this talk in the clouds
Changes wind on the ground
Open eyelids of gold
Cut me out
Unleash the downpour
As the words flood in
Will they wash you away
Watered down
Cut me out

“#1 In Heaven”
My ode to the bourgeoisie
Say goodbye to decency
It’s the last of your sunny days
In the hills high above the bay
Oh, you better step away
Number one in heaven, with a bullet
I’ll come for you when I can
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
Number one in heaven, with a bullet
Remember who I am
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
#1 in heaven….
From the heart, signed in blood
The first of many merry men before the flood
Where you gonna go as the pressure breaks
To the hills, now, you can’t get away
Oh, I’ll take you all with me
Number one in heaven, with a bullet
I’ll come for you when I can
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
Number one in heaven, with a bullet
Remember who I am
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
Put your hands above your head
Close your eyes and count to ten
I said
Put your hands above your head right now
I said
Put your hands above your head right now
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
Number one in heaven, with a bullet
Remember who I am
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
Tell them I’m smiling
Oh, won’t you
Send my greetings
I’m number one in heaven
Oh, send my greetings

“I Go Away”
It’s over, indulgently sober
How did I get here without feeling anything
“Stay true, see it through,” they say
Tick tock, time just slips away
And when the air is clear
The way I go is the way I feel
I’ll go away, I’ll go away, I’ll go my own way
I’ll go away, go away
This is my anthem, I know it like I know everything
I see it everywhere and in everyone
It’s complication, it’s validation
“Stay true, see it through,” they say
Tick tock, time just slips away
And when the air is clear
the way I go is anyway I feel
I’ll go away, I’ll go away, I’ll go my own way
I’ll go away, go away
“Stay true,” is that what they really say
See it through, there is no easy way
It’s right, why do I feel this weight
Tick tock, time just slips away
I’ll go my own way
Go away, go away

“Caligula”
I’m on the weather
I’m on the left
Annihilation
I got my F
A lesser evil
Not particular
Discard your Idyll
Caligula
Isis on the control tower
Isis on the control tower
Caligula, Caligula
Caligula, Caligula
I’m on the ceiling
I’m on the left
I got my sculpture
I got my F
I got my F-R-E-N-C-H Press
F-R-E-N-C-H
I got my C-A-L-I-G-U-L-A
Caligula, Caligula
Caligula, Caligula

“U.B.C.L. (C.L.U.B.)”
C-L-U-B
Faux fur on my bed, we’re moving slowly
Fill my glass, take it down, turn off that movie
Paint me gold, you can have my silver jewelry
Keep my sunglasses on, those colors move me
C-L-U-B
Falling down a straight line onto the dance floor
Filter sweep shakes my bones, give my bass more
Turn it up, get me off, I had it my way
DJ loop this shh up until the break of day
Why don’t you come along
Spinning backwards all night long
This rhythm moves along
Why not get emotional
You can come along
Grab my hand and we’ll both get gone
Say the — to discretion
Let’s get our party on
Oh!
C-L-U-B
I know a place we can go, they got white tiger
‘Round the back, brass doors, draped in flyers
Bitter sweet, no rewind, there is no leaving
Cardboard club burning up the air we’re breathing
Why don’t you come along
Spinning backwards all night long
This rhythm moves along
Why not get emotional
You can come along
Grab my hand and we’ll both get gone
Say the — to discretion
Let’s get our party on
Oh!
C-L-U-B
Can’t walk in straight lines
Oh!
C-L-U-B

“Fade to Black”
Reach out your hand
I’ll promise it’s easy
You’ll fade to black
You’ll fade to black
You’ve made your plans
Drawn out your feelings
And now it’s faded black
All around you
The marble cracked
Don’t be so distant
Oh
Out of touch, your touch through my bones
Turns me to white gold
While we fade to black
Underneath my skin, I’m shining
Makes me feel uneasy
Afraid to ask, we fade to black, we will
This is electricity, this is electricity
In four square windows
In added spaces
You’ll fade to black
You’ll fade to black, you will
Typeset on paper
Indents your memory
But now it’s faded black, all around you
People made of wax
You keep your distance, oh
Out of touch, your touch through my bones
Turns me to white gold
While we fade to black
We fade to black
Underneath my skin, I’m shining
Makes me feel uneasy
Afraid to ask, we fade to black, we will
Out of touch
Your touch through my bones
Turns me to white gold
While we fade to black,
We fade to black
Underneath my skin, I’m shining
Makes me feel uneasy
Afraid to ask, we fade to black, we will

“Jump In”
Burn your brand
All your pay
Give it all away
Trend is out
Bend it out
Arm, arm yourself it’s not too late
We’ll keep it movin
Mama’s let’s keep it movin’
To the dance floor
Jump In (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Lose yourself
Let’s all give in (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
To the sound
We’re breaking pavement
Under our feet
The sand is pouring out
Into the street, jump in! (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Commit your innocence
Let’s all submit (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
No resistance
Keep breaking pavement
Under our feet
The sand is pouring out
Into the street, jump in
Slate all gray
All, all day
Shield in my face
Fear the grid
Hold your ground
Be, be yourself it’s not too late
We’ll keep it movin,
Mama’s keep it movin’
To the dance floor
T-t-t-to the beat, unh!
Jump In (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Lose yourself
Let’s all give in (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
To the sound
We’re breaking pavement
Under our feet
The cinders pouring out
Into the street, jump in! (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Commit your innocence
Let’s all submit (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
With no resistance
Keep breaking pavement
Under our feet
The cinders pourning out
Into the street, jump in!
All ladies moving to the beat, all mamas to the beat
All mamas to the bee-eet
Back it up girl mamas to the beat, all mamas to the beat
All ladies moving through the beat are moving through the beat
All mamas to the bee-eet
Back it up girl, mamas to the beat, all mamas to the beat
Jump In (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Lose yourself
Let’s all give in (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
To the sound
We’re breaking pavement
Under our feet
The cinders pouring out
Into the street, jump in! (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
Commit your innocence
Let’s all submit (keep it movin, ah, let’s keep it movin)
With no resistance
Keep breaking pavement
Under our feet
The cinders pourning out
Into the street, jump in!
